Heads Together, the mental health campaign set up by The Royal Foundation, was the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon Charity of the Year, an incredible opportunity which saw the Virgin Money London Marathon turned into the worlds first “Mental Health Marathon”. Heads Together’s mission is to change the conversation on mental health and to tell people that it’s ok to talk about mental health.

Fast forward a year and we’re delighted to have 200 runners as part of Team Heads Together at the 2018 marathon, these amazing people and the friends and family who support them are helping us make this mission a reality. You can read more about the runners stories on the Heads Together website

In the run up to the race, Heads Together brought Nick Knowles and the cast of the 2017 “Mind over Marathon” documentary back together for an evening of conversation about mental health, marathon training, the impact of the Mind Over Marathon documentary and what they’ve been up to since.
